For months, this weekend has been talked up as Oklahoma’s big chance to make a statement in the recruiting world and the first domino has just fallen.

Just announced via Twitter, 5-star WR, Arjei Henderson has re-committed to the Sooners:

As far as recruitment goes, Henderson has had a fairly eventful one. Initially committing to Oklahoma in February of last year and then to Oregon in July. However it all leads back to Henderson kicking off what is expected to be a huge recruiting weekend for the Sooners.

(Quick note here: If you’ve been a follower of the site, you know that we’ve exclusively used 247 Composite rankings. That won’t be the case as the ESPN rankings that factor into the composite are out-of-date.)

Henderson ranks as a 5-star prospect; 3rd at his position and 6th nationally by Rivals. He becomes Oklahoma’s 5th commitment in their 2019 recruiting class that moves up to 13th nationally and 2nd in the Big 12.
