Baker becomes the 6th Sooner player to be awarded the Heisman trophy, moving Oklahoma with Ohio State in total Heisman winners.

Despite losing elite play-makers in Samaje Perine, Joe Mixon, and Dede Westbrook, Mayfield recorded season highs in both passing yards and touchdowns. His senior season totals include: 4340 passing yards, 41 passing touchdowns, 310 rushing yards, 5 rushing touchdowns and a passing efficiency rating of 203.8 (highest in the NCAA).
